Dear Parents,
Thank you for being a part of the Abner Montessori School community and for choosing us to provide a Montessori education for your child. We are deeply grateful for the opportunity to guide your child’s growth and development.
One of the things that strikes me about our community this year is how peaceful and loving our group of learners has become. These children have truly embodied the essence of a Montessori learning community, demonstrating kindness, helpfulness, patience, and a genuine desire to support one another’s growth. It has been a joy to witness their progress and the bonds they’ve formed.
This past Thursday we had a bridging ceremony which is a significant event at Abner Montessori School. It honors the child's achievements and marks the transition of individuals moving from one stage of development to another. The ceremony also instills a sense of excitement as they continue their educational journey.
As we close for the summer, I tend to reflect on the purpose of our school and the words of Dr. Maria Montessori, “The child who has felt a strong love for his surroundings and for all living creatures, who has discovered joy and enthusiasm in work, gives us reason to hope that humanity can develop in a new direction.” May the love of God guide your family.
