Summer Enrichment – Week 1 Recap & What’s Ahead
Our Creative Space was buzzing with excitement this week! From sewing and rocket launching to jewelry making, stop-motion animation, and painting; students dove into hands-on projects that sparked their creativity and curiosity. In the classrooms, we kept young minds sharp with engaging reading, math, language, and science activities—all balanced with plenty of time for outdoor games, imaginative play, and building friendships. It’s the perfect blend of summer fun and meaningful learning!
Coming Up This Week: Design and Shine!
Monday- Our creative journey begins!
We will begin the week with Individual Choice activities in Creative Space.
Tuesday – Memory Book Making
Students will explore storytelling through scrapbooking. Each child will design one or two memory book pages with journaling, layouts, and decorations. We'll provide all supplies. If your child wants to include 2–3 printed photos from home, they’re welcome—but it’s completely optional.
Wednesday – Reading & Game Day
Mrs. Lynn will lead our Reading Club with fun discussions and activities. We’ll also enjoy favorite board games with friends.
Thursday – Jewelry & Creative Crafts
Young artists will work with beads, clay, and paint to design custom jewelry and crafts. They’ll also learn how to package their creations like professional makers—encouraging creativity, focus, and style.
Friday – Water Play Day! 16ft Inflatable Water Slide on the way!
Students can cool off on the water slide, enjoy bubbles and the water table, and have a snow cone for snack. Please send a towel and a full change of dry clothes.
