Our young adventurers learned about the Sahara Desert through creative crafts, special reading, and informative video presentations. We also enjoyed our second water play day. Although it was a rainy week, the weather did not deter us from having fun. Children had a blast building with legos, playing games, planning puppet shows, picking produce from the garden, creating desert-inspired artwork, and having free time in the gym.

Of course, water play day was a hit!

The young gardeners continued caring for the plants in our garden. Our students are developing an appreciation for nature's beauty, and this week we enjoyed the garden's bounty as we picked and tasted lettuce, peas, tomatoes, cucumbers, purple bell peppers, banana peppers, basil, and parsley.

Our summer program is filled with enriching experiences, new friendships, and plenty of smiles. As we explore the Swiss Alps this week, we anticipate more opportunities for growth, discovery, and fun.

Stay tuned for updates on the exciting happenings at Abner Montessori School and Sky After School's summer program!
